Some, if not most of you, have already seen this item but we are presenting this here today as an official item that is part of the With Teeth 20 collection.

Created by @elikellyf, this unique, one-of-a-kind piece, came together through a collaborative process between Eleanor and @kraw.

After initially being made aware of Eleanor’s Head Like a Hole piece, via multiple fans, John Crawford, creative director for Nine Inch Nails, reached out to invite Eleanor to work on the WT20 collection. The interest came not only because her work was unique in nature but adding the fact that she is a big NIN fan, just made the opportunity even more exciting.

Per John “The WT20 collection ended up being a perfect opportunity for that. By that point, I already had a clear idea for the [ONLY] tee design we’d be selling in the store, and it felt natural to incorporate that very specific element into Eleanor’s piece—making it clear that her work was an official part of the launch.”

The process started by John suggesting using the [LYNO] mirrored graphic. Eleanor also wanted to incorporate a glitch effect, like what is seen on the Thread Tee, and after some back and forth tweaks, the final product, which is seen above, came to be.

The entire process took about 10 days. Eleanor starts by knitting the base of the sweater on a knitting machine, then knitting the neckline, hem and cuffs all by hand. She then goes on to stitch the graphics on using duplicate stitching and then embroidered the glitch effect on top of that. The result is this amazing, one-of-a-kind sweater.
